Need a Windows portable build, Linux DEB/RPM/AppImage, or the separate CLI? Use the complete official release assets. No automatic OS detection is used.

Check a downloaded package

Compare the SHA-256 value with the line for the same filename in the release checksum file. The following are system commands, not PhotoCraft commands. Replace the placeholder with your actual filename.

Windows PowerShell: Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256 .\YOUR-FILE.msi
macOS: shasum -a 256 ./YOUR-FILE.dmg
Linux: sha256sum ./YOUR-FILE.flatpak

Step by step

  1. Use the official page

Start at the ArtCraft PhotoCraft page. The Launcher manages installation and updates; standalone packages install PhotoCraft by itself. Both options are listed there.

  2. Match your operating system

Choose Windows, macOS, or Linux. On Windows and Linux, check your CPU architecture before choosing x64/x86_64 or ARM64/aarch64. Do not guess from the age of your computer.

  3. Check the release

Our documented snapshot is v0.7.0. The official latest-release page may now show a newer version. Read its notes and use the packages attached to that release rather than a copied third-party download link.

  4. Keep a working copy

Install, open a small sample, and save an edited copy before trying an important project. SHA256SUMS.txt on the release page can be used to compare your download with the publisher’s checksum. A checksum match verifies integrity, not every aspect of software safety.
